Taking a Look at The Best Pay as You Go Mobile Phone Deals
When deciding on the best pay as you go mobile phone deals, there are a lot of things to consider. Each carrier finds ways and means to provide value to you as the customer, but some have created packages that are better for you than others and work out to be the cheapest. It's really all about the details, as prepaid plans – while usually straight forward – have many things to consider. You have to think about these when deciding on the best pay as you go mobile phone deals.
With prepaid you obviously receive no bills at the end of the month, you rather top-up your usage in various ways. Basically, you buy minutes upfront and then use them at your leisure. When you need more minutes, you 'top-up' by either using the Internet or buying cards at various outlets across the country.
When you purchase a starter kit with the carrier, you can often receive a mobile phone at a great deal. Unlike contracts, you don't pay for the phone throughout the duration of the contract. Here you must pay for the phone upfront. But to get you on their network the carriers will often offer some fantastic mobile phones at great deals.
T-Mobile has four different types of pay as you go offerings. It starts with the most basic – where you simply pay money for minutes on the network. You basically get four options here as well – 30 minutes of airtime for 10 dollars; 130 minutes of airtime for 25 dollars; and 400 minutes for 50 dollars. The top tier here is 100 dollars, where you get 1,000 minutes but are also automatically put into the provider's “Gold Rewards” program, where for every card you buy you get 15 percent more minutes.
You also get a pay per day plan, which includes a one dollar access fee that you pay every day that you actually use the phone. The perks here are unlimited minutes if you use the phone at night (from 7pm) and unlimited minutes if you phone from your phone to another mobile phone.
The FlexPay plan is offered as a sort of prepaid service as well. It's quite an interesting choice as it allows you to choose from amongst the company's popular contract plans, but rather pay for these in a prepaid manner. If you like the set up you can also go onto a contract when the time is right.
Finally, there is the Sidekick plan which costs one dollar a day and includes unlimited Internet access, email and text messaging. You pay for calls here at 15 cents a minute and can also buy your minutes in three different tiers.
Your options are: 50 dollars gets you unlimited minutes; 60 dollars gets you unlimited talk time and text messages; 80 dollars includes all the previously mentioned perks with unlimited web access as well. But you will only find this plan available to you at Wal-Mart and Best Buys.
So, this is one option for you when you're looking for the best pay as you go mobile phone deals.
